    Synthetic macro fiber:A substitute product developed for steel fiber

    Synthetic macro fiber is a substitute product developed for steel fiber, while taking into account some characteristics of synthetic fiber. Compared with steel fiber, it has the characteristics of corrosion resistance, easy dispersion, easy construction, and no damage to mixing equipment. The product is made of polypropylene and other raw materials through special processes and surface treatment. It has the advantages of high breaking strength, good dispersion in concrete, and strong grip. It replaces steel fiber for cement concrete, overcomes the characteristics of low tensile strength, low ultimate elongation, and brittleness of concrete, and has tensile, shear, crack resistance, fatigue resistance, high toughness and other properties. It has been used in construction, road and bridge, hydraulic engineering and other engineering fields.

    Parameters:

    Equivalent diameter: 0.8±0.2mm

    Elongation at break: 15-30%

    Main material: modified polypropylene

    Length (mm): 20-60

    Breaking strength (Mpa): ≥450

    Initial modulus (MPa) ≥530

    Acid and alkali resistance (ultimate tensile retention rate %): ≥98.0

    Density: 0.91-0.98g/cm3

    Usage:

    1. Dosage: The recommended volume dosage of imitation steel fiber is 0.3%-0.9%, that is, the dosage per cubic meter of concrete is 3kg--9kg.

    2. Length selection: 30mm-50mm for general crack-proof reinforced concrete; 20mm-30mm when added to shotcrete.

    3. Ratio design: For general applications, there is no need to change the grade and ratio parameters of concrete. You can refer to "Steel Fiber Concrete Structure and Construction Specifications" CECS38:92. Special applications require selection and design after testing. Considering that concrete may cause tiny cracks due to shrinkage, drying shrinkage and temperature changes, 1kg of monofilament microfiber can be added to the concrete for better results.

    4. Mixer selection: Use a double-shaft horizontal forced mixer.

    5. Feeding and mixing process: First put in crushed stone, then put in crack-blocking bars, then put in sand, stir to fully disperse the crack-blocking bars, then put in cement and water and mix evenly according to the conventional process. It can also be constructed in the order of conventional process, but the mixing and stirring time should be appropriately extended to make the crack-blocking bars evenly dispersed.

    6. Forming and curing process: If there are no special requirements, the compaction time can be extended as appropriate. When plastering, the concrete surface should be slightly passivated before proceeding to avoid being brought out. Curing should still be carried out according to the requirements of ordinary concrete.

    7. Packaging: Conventional packaging is 1.0kg/bag, and it can also be packaged according to user requirements.

    Function:

    1. Effectively reduce the risk of concrete cracks and improve the tensile, bending and flexural strength of concrete;

    2. Reduce damage in the event of earthquakes and other severe natural disasters;

    3. Reduce fatal defects inside concrete and improve the impermeability of concrete;

    4. Protect steel bars from corrosion and improve the durability of concrete structures;

    5. Increase the wear resistance of concrete;

    6. Significantly improve fatigue resistance;

    7. Used on roads to prevent damage to tires.
