The density of polypropylene fine fibers is very low, with a small diameter. When polypropylene monofilament fibers with a direct diameter of 48 microns and a length of 19mm are mixed with a volume ratio of 0.1%, the number of fibers in 1m3 concrete can reach 29 million. Such a large number of fibers are evenly distributed in the concrete, forming a three-dimensional "support network" that plays the following three roles in the poured concrete:
1.Prevent the segregation of concrete and improve its homogeneity.
2.Reduce and prevent early shrinkage cracks in large volume concrete.
3.Reduce and suppress plastic shrinkage cracks in concrete, and improve its durability.
